53rd Maha Shivaratri Mahotsava at Ichlampadi Shri Gangadhareshwara Temple

Kadaba, February 26, 2025 (Wednesday): The 53rd Maha Shivaratri Mahotsava will be celebrated grandly at Shri Gangadhareshwara Temple in Ichlampadi village, Shankhadweepa, on the auspicious day of Swasti Shri Krodhi Nama Samvatsara, Magha Krishna Kumbha Masa.
This sacred festival will be conducted under the leadership of priest Shri Sridhara Noojinnaya with great devotion. Various religious and cultural programs will take place at the temple as part of the celebrations. The temple administration has invited devotees to participate in large numbers and contribute to making the event a grand success.

🔸 6:00 PM – Special procession of Utsavamurthi Nataraja with Tali Deepalankara, Deeparadhane, and Sandhya Pooja

🔸 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM – Maha Annasantarpane 
🔸 12:00 AM – 1:00 AM – Maha Shivaratri Pooja and Prasada Distribution

Cultural Program:

🌟 9:30 PM – Yakshagana

A grand Yakshagana performance of “Shri Madamaki Kshetra Mahatme” will be presented by the Sri Veerabhadraswami Dashavatara Yakshagana Mandali, Shri Kshetra Madamaki, written by Shri K. Basavaraja Shettigar.
Devotees are invited to take part in this divine celebration and receive the blessings of Lord Shiva. The temple administration has urged everyone to participate and make this festival a memorable event.
