
KADABA: The auspicious annual Navaratri Mahotsava at the sacred and historical Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple, Ichilampady Beedu (Kadaba Taluk, Dakshina Kannada) will be celebrated with grand religious fervor and cultural vibrancy from October 11 to October 20.
The sacred celebrations will commence under the traditional calendar of Parabhava Nama Samvatsara, Kanya Masa 24 (Sunday, October 11) at 8:00 AM with Devatha Prarthana, Ganahoma, and the ceremonial Ghata Sthapana. The comprehensive coordination of this 10-day festival is orchestrated under the guidance of Girish Salian Badane and Udayakumar Hosamane.

🕉️ Navaratri Pooja Registrations
The daily Pooja Sankalpa commences punctually at 7:00 PM. Devotees performing the pooja are requested to pay the Seva fee of Rs. 800/- and collect their official receipt at the counter before 7:00 PM. As poojas continue on the 10th day as well, devotees whose names are not on the prior schedule are also welcome to offer poojas on the 10th day.
🧵 Rakshe & Rakshaphala Pooja
Devotees seeking sacred thread (Rakshe) and coconut sanctification (Rakshaphala) should submit the sacred thread and unpeeled whole coconut on Day 1. These will be sanctified continuously at the deity’s sanctum and distributed on the 10th night following the Maha Pooja.
🌸 Offerings & Kanike Items
Devotees can offer fresh Kepula flowers, Tulsi, Bilva leaves, Pingara, general floral garlands, edible oils, bananas, coconuts, and plantain leaves, which are received with gratitude.
